AdTech Engineer (m/f/d)

You know Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360 and the conversions APIs from the inside, technically, not from media planning. Here you build the measurement and the data flows that our clients' campaigns run on. 100 % remote, full-time or part-time, permanent or freelance. Business-fluent German is mandatory, because the client work runs in German.

Datascale does not run campaigns. We build the technology that makes campaigns measurable: Enhanced Conversions, Meta Conversions API, offline conversion import from the CRM, Floodlight setups in Campaign Manager 360, consent signals all the way into the ad platform. As AdTech Engineer you own this part of the architecture.

A typical case: Google Ads reports more conversions than the CRM, Meta reports different numbers again. You find the point where the signals diverge and build the data flow that ends it: server-side, first-party, with a consent signal and a match quality you can show to the client.

The campaigns are steered by the clients' performance teams and agencies. You give them the signals that make steering work in the first place.

Elsewhere this role is called AdTech Specialist, Marketing Technology Engineer, Conversion Tracking Specialist or Google Marketing Platform Consultant. It is the same work.

Responsibilities
